Thank you for tuning into Red Lion Realty’s YouTube channel today. The discussion of topic is going to be cycle of life properties. A lot of people are not familiar with them. Cycle of life properties generally means senior type properties where somebody falls, get sick, gets hurt and then they need to sell asset and turn it into cash to take care of their medical expenses. Unfortunately, a lot of the children live out of state. So, if something happens to Mom or Dad, then they fly in, they open up the phonebook, and they call the first person who’s probably not the best person suited for their needs. In Cycle of life properties, there’s a lot of different properties that I work with. There’s some that should be off market properties only that we sell to investor. I’m sure everybody’s seen the signs that say, “we buy ugly houses:, “we buy any houses any shape any form, and we pay cash for them”. I work with a team of reputable investors that do that so there’s some houses that are dilapidated, need a ton of work, nothing’s been tended to for 30 or 40 years and it’s unfortunate but we do run across them from time to time. But I do know investors that will pay top dollar in the investment category for these people. And then there’s properties that are sale ready. You need somebody local, somebody who knows the market, knows the area, can truly assess what the property’s worth and what it’s gonna bring. I also work with probate attorney’s. I mean unfortunately sometimes somebody passes. And it’s a series of unfortunate events that sometimes people go through but there’s a team of people that work behind me that most people aren’t aware or see. But I have probate attorney’s, tax attorney’s, CPA’s. I’ve worked with different senior care places. If you’re not the fit for them, they’re going to advise you who you need to go to for the best help. So with cycle of life properties, it’s a very sensitive topic, but it’s one that needs to be addressed. Baby Boomers, that’s one of the largest populations out there, they’re not getting any younger, the baby boomers, a lot of them are pushing into their 70’s.
